The character has been very powerful, pushy and insistent, but the topic and the POV character are way outside my comfort zone. I can think of so many reasons not to pursue this idea, and all of them are fear-based. So, thanks for the nudge.Cynthia J. Also, your daughter is full of the wisdom, which I think is because she's YOUR daughter. I tend to be pretty good about diving into fears when I know there's a good reason to, but sometimes that leads me to bury/ignore the fears that I *really* don't want to face. And now you've got me thinking about my characters' fears... Good food for thought.

PS--I would be very interested to know how you found your Italian home-stay language program.

SFhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05126306619182458823noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3388578325782539013.post-65066811919777408162012-10-18T08:34:33.206-04:002012-10-18T08:34:33.206-04:00Thanks for sharing, Emily. It resonates as I work on an umpteenth revision and find that I am cutting and an adding at about the same rate. Kind of scary too, but I'm hoping it evens out!Jody Casellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17892174349776047862noreply@blogger.com
