I wanted to be like Harriet the Spy.

Thank you for inspiring me to take a step back with my latest main character and give her time to develop. I may try to buy her a journal too! I love how you say it was time to re-pot Justine into the story. But I love this, especially the idea of a notebook from your character's POV. So cool.

BTW-I was just thinking about THE BEGINNING OF AFTER the other day. I love it when, out of nowhere, you suddenly start thinking about a book and its characters. Always a sign of what a great book it is. When I was younger I used my ancient typewriter, and now I fill computer files.
PS. So glad you joined us on YAOTL! I say to anyone who hasn't read your books: Read them! They are GOOD. And now I am anxiously awaiting your WIP about the obsessive infatuation that made you question the nature of love itself...Jody Casellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17892174349776047862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3388578325782539013.post-54513913681051100032013-04-12T07:00:06.297-04:002013-04-12T07:00:06.297-04:00Wow. I've also been a journal junkie for a lifetime, but I love how you actually gave the journal your character's name. I haven't gone that far, but have given my characters pages where I let them ramble on about why they are in my book and what secrets they have and so on. Next time I'm going to give my MC her own comp book. Brilliant.
Also: I just splurged on this iphone case from Kate Spade that is a comp book. And I won't even have an iphone for a few more months. lol
http://wanelo.com/p/3267129/kate-spade-composition-notebook-iphone-4-caseKristihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06063976931101712833noreply@blogger.com
