Book Bans are Simply Anti-American by Patty Blount

 I cannot fathom how Americans can put their hands over their hearts while singing about the land of the free and then condone book-banning in any form. 

It's simply un-American to deny people the right to read what they want.

I gained a daughter! 

That's right. My son got married this month and I'm incredibly happy. Here I am, escorting him down the aisle.
