Deadlines & Holiday Cheer

Four days away from a first draft deadline. I'm crazy. I love my book, I hate my book, I have zero insight or perspective. I've re-read the thing forty billion times. It's too short. Nice line in chapter nine. Making changes feels like murder. I'm scrubbing the tub. I want new clothes. Reading other people's books makes me insane and sick. Oh my god Netflix streaming. Oh my god let's bake a pie. Love this song, hate this song, time to make a new playlist. Rearrange commas. Refresh gmail. Pet the kitten. Braid my hair. Oh my gosh, happy new year:
